Handson Family bringing the world famous Heritage tour to Setlist
Heritage is an inclusive and welcoming celebration of Black British club music culture — a space where generations unite on the dancefloor.
For the past five years, Heritage has proudly hosted one of the most vibrant and beloved stages at South London’s #1 soul, jazz & funk festival, Cross The Tracks. Its mission: to spotlight DJs and artists who have made significant contributions to Black British music, across genres and generations.
This summer, we’re excited to welcome the Handson Family for an exclusive Friday night takeover series. Expect a deep dive into the rich legacy and future-forward sounds of Black music with special guests playing everything from house to garage, broken beat to soul, and everything in between.
Known for his legendary genre spanning open format party mixes just as much as his chilled side, Close Up Things seamlessly blends a variety of global sounds with Jazz, Dub, Ragga, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Disco, Boogie and House flavours. This style has seen him share the booth with artists such as Rhaann, Norman Jay, MJ Cole, The Reflex, Marcel Vogel, Alex Mills, Gilles Peterson, and Don Letts to name a few. A music fanatic and collector he’s guaranteed to have you moving to some new introductions whether that be in the Club, Festival or chilled out bar space.
