Friday 14/11/2025

A Macanese supperclub, a celebration of the bold, eclectic flavours born from the meeting of Portuguese, Chinese, and wider Asian influences.

Ana da Costa is a cook, recipe developer, and founder of the Macanese supper club FAT TEA. Drawing on her roots in Macau, she celebrates the vibrant blend of Macanese, Portuguese, and Chinese cuisines through bold, modern dishes that honour tradition while embracing innovation.

Her philosophy of “Ageing Young” shapes both her cooking and storytelling, weaving together food, heritage, and wellness. Ana has hosted acclaimed events across London, including a month takeover at Shoreditch House, JAZU and 2-day pop-ups at Mambow and The Aubrey at the Mandarin Oriental, where she showcased her distinctive approach to flavour and culture.

Inspired by principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ana approaches cooking as both nourishment and medicine—bringing balance, imagination, and bold flavour to the table.
